Permitted promotion

• Manual traffic exchanges
• List mailers and safelists where recipients opted in
• Your own opt-in mailing list
• Forum and email signatures where the forum permits links
• Your own websites, blogs and social profiles
• Paid banner and text advert placements

Prohibited promotion

• Any email to recipients who did not request it
• Purchased or scraped email lists
• Unsolicited private messages on social networks or forums
• Comment spam and automated posting software
• Guestbook, wiki and directory injection
• Auto surf, passive surf or any traffic exchange that runs without a real visitor actively viewing each page
• Any technique that fakes visits or hides the destination

Reporting

If you receive unsolicited email containing a coop link, send the full message headers to the administration team through the contact form. Reports are investigated within two working days.

Consequences

A first confirmed report removes the offending sites from the rotation. A second suspends the account. Credits held by a suspended account are frozen and are forfeited if the account is closed.
